Victoria and Andreas

Oh my goodness, I don’t even know where to start with this one! I guess I have to go way back, like to age 12 when Victoria and I became best buds! We shared a deep bond over boy bands (the Backstreet Boys to be specific), the movie Titanic, and posters from teen magazines. It was Victoria, Kristen, Sam and myself and we were inseparable! I know a lot of girls hate those awkward middle school years but they were some of the most fond memories of my life! Young, innocent and singing our hearts out to all of our favorite music every weekend! Victoria moved  back to Germany when we were in the 8th grade and as sad as it was, we kept in touch through all the years! Kristen’s mom even took us to visit the summer before our Freshman year of high school. When Victoria emailed us about shooting her wedding, I was floored that she thought of us! I was also totally excited about the opportunity to visit one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been a second time and shoot our very first international wedding! I knew I wanted to work in an engagement session and we were so excited to get these loves birds in front of the camera a few days before they tied the knot. Victoria, her mom and her grandparents live in the most quaint and adorable towns in the German countryside. It is so lovely and a bit like walking into a fairytale. Her mom lives next door to a castle and Victoria’s cottage was built in 1609! Oh my gosh, that is older than the USA! We chose Oma and Opa’s orchard and a lake that Victoria and Andreas love to take long walks around. It was the perfect backdrop for these two! Victoria and Andreas are so in love! Shooting them was so easy – they just are so natural and comfortable together and it comes through in each and every picture! We loved taking these photos and the amazing opportunity to shoot these photos in the gorgeous German countryside!
