it’s So Nice to Meet You

We’re Amanda & Grady

We were both born and raised in Eastern, North Carolina purchased a home in the town we grew up – Greenville, NC in 2019! In 2021, we welcome our baby boy, Sheppard into the world and our lives completely changed in the best way! We have a deep love for travel, but we also love spending time at home, especially in our rocking chairs on our front porch. Mornings for us always start with coffee; it’s a must and these days it’s very early with a little one! If we are grabbing takeout, it is likely Thai food. A few years after we got married, we welcomed Penny, an adorable black and tan Shepherd puppy into our lives – she is the sweetest girl! When Grady’s not behind a camera, he enjoys playing his guitar and more recently his mandolin! He’s an avid Disney history fan and can tell you all sorts of facts about the parks and people over the years. Amanda loves interior decorating, the fall and discovering things that are good for the soul. Laughing together is very important to us and we try to do that every day! If you can quote The Office, this is the beginning of a beautiful friendship!

We’re all traveling through time together every day of our lives.
All we can do is our best to relish this remarkable ride.”

About Time

our story:

the reason why

we do what we do

/

It all started with photo albums for me – untidily scattered across the floor at my grandparents home in Eastern, North Carolina. Running my fingers through each page and carefully examining the handwritten captions. “Grandma Doris, will you tell me the story of your life?” I loved hearing about her adventures in Hawaii as a newlywed at 18-years-old and what it was like to be a Marine Corp wife. Discovering black and white photographs of my Grandma and Grandpa Brown madly in love and eloping or the one of my grandfather with the most endearing smile, standing next to Johnny Cash (that one is still a mystery)! Snap shots of lives lived well brought me a deep appreciation of the power of photography. These photographs were a vessel and they transported my grandparents back in time to wonderful memories. And the best part, I could go on the journey with them. At a young age, I learned the power of photographs and the joy of sharing them. These images were tools to remember, reflect, and to share legacy with the ones you love.
