We had such a fun day documenting Allie and Sandy’s Figure Eight Island engagement session last fall! Figure Eight Island is a magical little spot on the coast, just outside of Wilmington, NC. We have been so lucky to get to visit several times for engagement sessions! It’s easy to see the magic in this place! Just look at the glow of the water and the cotton candy colored sunset/moonrise in these images! It’s not hard to understand why this place is so special to Allie and Sandy! We love documenting people in a place that is special to them. Familiarity helps people relax and gives a session a very lifestyle vibe, which we love! Allie and Sandy were so laid back at their session in one of their favorite places with their best bud, Dare! We can hardly wait to document their destination wedding in May! If these photos are any indication of the joy, laughter and FUN the wedding day is going to bring – we are in for ONE epic day!
