We are still a little overwhelmed in the best way by our first wedding of 2020! We were so honored to document Allie and Hayden’s Brooklyn Arts Center Wedding Photography in Wilmington, NC! This day was so incredibly beautiful! I was so excited to document the wonderful work of Salt Harbor for the first time! I have been following Jen’s work since I was in college and it was a dream come true to finally have the opportunity to photograph her team’s work (I mean that flower arch – WOW)! Not only was this day visually beautiful, it was filled with incredible moments. Allie’s laughter was infections, her tears were filled with joy and she was a vision of grace and kindness on her wedding day! Hayden was steady, resolute and and filled with gratitude and kindess as he prepared to marry the love of his life. This is one of those weddings that marks you. We will remember it always for the gift it was to document. I don’t even know if I could pick a favorite moment. Allie’s first look with her dad was so joyful. The way Allie’s bridesmaids were in complete awe when they first saw her in her wedding dress had us all smiling from ear to ear. But I especially loved the moment Allie was walking down the ailse with her dad. Her veil got caught on the treads of the floor and pulled out. Allie with her eyes still locked in on Hayden’s, burst out laughing. Everyone joined in laughing with the couple and it was the most beautiful and sweet moment! Grady and a guest ran in to pick up the veil and help put it back in (what a guy) and Allie and her dad finished their walk to Hayden!
Allie and Hayden, thank you for trusting us to document your incredible wedding day! It was filled with treasures and we are so grateful to have been a part of it! We are wishing you a lifetime of blessings as you start your next chapter!
