I had so much fun this past winter documenting Jill and Tripp at their Dillon and Downtown Raleigh engagement session! These two are getting married in just a few short months in our hometown – Greenville, NC and we can’t wait to document their lovely winter wedding! This session was such a breeze with these two! We strolled around downtown Raleigh and stopped at some favorite iconic spots. Their are so many unique spaces around the warehouse district and I love incorporating the classic feel of the Capital lawn into sessions. We ended the shoot at City Market and the twinkly lights added a little glow to the end of our session! Downtown Raleigh really is such a beautiful place for photographs! I also had the chance to incorporate some 35mm film into this session. I’m really loving the joy that film is sparking in my work. It’s teaching me so much about slowing down and capturing the moment without the burden of perfection. It’s keeping me on my toes in so many ways and I’m just loving the results!
