I don’t even know where to start on this one. When Sam called and told me about her vision for a Washington, NC elopement, I was so overwhelmed with happy emotions! Sam has been my best friends since we were in the 6th grade. It’s hard to describe what is like photographing your best friends wedding. There was joy and excitement. There was laughter and quite a bit of ugly crying on my part. There was a comfort level unlike anything I have ever experienced because there is a level of trust that is built on 17 years of friendship. It was such an honor to be invited to capture this day for two beautiful people and one who has stood by my side not only at my own wedding, but since we were 12 years old.
Sam and Ryan watching your relationship grow and develop into an engagement and a marriage has been such an amazing experience. I love how you two get each other, how you laugh together, how you love Jesus together. I love your passion for life and each other. Ryan, I love how much you love Lessie and your special little bond that the rest of us have nothing on! It was such an honor to photograph you two on your wedding day. I can’t wait for all the memories the future holds. I know that we are only going to continue to share and collect beautiful moments with each other!
