Kara and Matt welcomed their second son, Lewis into the family just one month ago! We were so excited to photograph their Raleigh, NC Newborn Session a few weeks ago! Lewis is the sweetest little bundle of baby joy and Tucker has so much energy! We met at the park on one of the first crisp, fall evenings of the year to document this exciting time for this family. Photographing families with new babies has become such a life-giving experience for me in my photography business. I have photographed more newborn sessions this year than any other type of session! I think the reason my heart comes so alive in these sessions is because we (both my clients and myself) are able to slow down and step into these sessions with the lenses of gratitude and joy. There is so much gratitude found in the eyes of moms and dads when they look at their children and there is so much joy in capturing these heart swelling moments!
Kara and Matt, thank you so much for the honor of photographing this important time in your lives. You have two amazing little men and it has been so much fun watching your family grow over the years! Tucker is an amazing big brother already and I love their bond! I’ll be over soon to get in some more Lewis snuggles! They are the best!
