It was an absolute joy to celebrate Kate and Christian at their Eastern NC winter wedding this past December! I knew from the minute I met Kate and Christian for their engagement photos that I was going to love being a part of their celebration! Which totally reminds me that I still need to share their engagement session as well! We had the best time running around Kate’s home town and capturing places that were special, including the coffee shop where Kate and Christian had their first date! But I digress! Fast forward to December, we had an unseasonably warm day (well it is NC, so I’m not sure what is normal anymore) with overcast skies, but the rain held out and the day was just lovely! With a dose of hometown charm, Kate and Christian’s wedding day was the same day as the Goldsboro Christmas parade, which led to a hilarious (in hindsight) story of Grady getting stuck walking in the Christmas parade with our camera gear in tow. But with the help of a very nice parade lady and police officer, he was able to exit said parade and drive through the closed off streets to arrive to the wedding ceremony! Whew! All that said, it truly was such a wonderful day and we are so grateful to have been a part of this winter celebration. Hope you enjoy the images!
Kate and Christian, thank you for spending your wedding day with us and for letting us capture your day! It was filled with warmth and love! We are wishing you all the best on this next adventure and we hope we get to see you really soon!
