It was an absolute joy to document Eleanor and Drew’s micro wedding in Charlotte, NC this weekend! We loved documenting this sweet couple’s Duke Mansion wedding photography. Eleanor and Drew have been absolutely incredible throughout the process of planning, replanning, and reimagining what their wedding day would look like! With an original wedding date in May, Eleanor and Drew postponed their wedding to the fall due to COVID-19. As the year progressed and we learned more about COVID, they decided to significantly reduce the size of their guest list and move forward with a micro wedding. And even though the day was completely different than they originally planned it, I can’t imagine a more perfect or more beautiful day! It was relaxed. It was stunning. It was surrounded by beautiful and filled with love. It was intimate and it was all about the beautiful covenant between this couple! Covenant Presbyterian was a beautiful backdrop for a socially distanced outdoor ceremony. After the ceremony, the couple was congratulated by friends and family with a drive-through celebration. The Duke Mansion served as the most lovely venue for an outdoor reception (if you’ve never had the chance to visit this place – it is a must)! We were completely blown away by the property and the stunning gardens that surround it!
Eleanor and Drew, we are so grateful to have had the opportunity to document this special day for you! We truly feel like we walked away with wonderful friends! Your wedding is one we are never going to forget! Every part of the day was lovely and filled with love!
