I met Amy at her grandmother’s beautiful home for her Eastern NC bridal portraits. It was a lovely summer day and my friend Kristina was accompanying me to assist with the shoot. When Kristina would assist me this summer, we always had the best time trying to guess what the bride’s dress would look like! We were usually wrong, but it is the most fun game! When we arrived, the sun was giving us that gorgeous, golden light I love! It was the perfect time to photograph Amy because she is so warm and radiant. Amy’s sister, Sarah and her mom, Anne helped keep everyone smiling and laughing and we had the best afternoon together. I was so inspired by the softness of Amy’s veil and her gently swept back hair and I wanted to capture this essence in these portraits. Amy, you are so warm and full of life. Thank you so much for inviting me to spend the afternoon with you and capture these portraits. You are so beautiful inside and out and it was a joy to photograph you!
I am so in love with this portrait of Amy. The softness, the black and white, her veil, it’s perfect!
