Abby + Peter

Abby and Peter were married in Pennsburg, Pennsylvania in a beautiful winter wedding at the Loft at Sweet Water Country Club. The forecast was calling for a wintery mix and on this day, that is exactly what we received. Fluffy snowflakes came down from the sky just as the ladies were enjoying a beautiful bridal brunch prepared by the Maid of Honor, Claire. As much as we were hoping that snow would stay, it soon turned to ice, then a steady rain which hung around the rest of the day and all into the night. Even so, Abby and Peter were so wonderfully relaxed and so incredibly awesome to brave the rain for some outdoor photos when I asked. Their whole day was filled with beautiful love, beautiful friends and family, beautiful laughter and beautiful treasures.  One of my favorite treasures from the day was the dress Abby wore. It was the dress her grandmother wore on her wedding day. It was timeless and perfect. Abby and Peter, Grady and I loved being a part of your wedding day. We loved spending time with your families and your amazing friends! I still can’t stop laughing about the video at the reception. Daniel and friends did an amazing job! You two are two of the most considerate and kind people we know. Abby, I’m so glad that we became friends all those years ago and that our friendship has lasted through time and distance. I am so happy you are fulfilling your dream to live in Germany (hopefully soon over a bakery) and that this summer we finally got to have that trip…the one with the pretzels and hot dogs in Germany!! Peter, you are so considerate, always checking to make sure everyone feels welcomed and is taken care of. If the whole volcano scientist thing doesn’t work out for you, we think you could move to America with all your German friends and school the American men on how to wear a proper fitted suit.
