This past winter, I photographed the Herring family in their home in Raleigh, NC. They had just welcomed their daughter, Mary Carroll! Being a Raleigh NC newborn photographer is such a joy! I love all the genuine smiles that happen during a newborn session. The home swells with gratitude and joy as a new life enters! As an artist, who photographs a lot of fast paced sessions and events, newborn photography also brings a certain level of peace and calm that I just can’t get enough of!
Included in Mary Carroll’s session were so many sweet details including several beautiful handmade quilts and two 100-year-old antique cradles. Also, included was the Herring’s absolutely adorable dog, Macy! Mary Carroll’s pink and white nursery made the perfect backdrop for newborn photos! I loved walking into a nursery flooded with such beautiful natural light!
