Ashley and James were married on the most beautiful November day in New Bern, North Carolina at Abilena Plantation! All week I had prepared to photograph a rainy day wedding as I watched the forecast. However, when their day arrived, so did the sun (for the most part)! Earlier that week I had emailed Ashley to chat through some details of the day and she responded saying, “Rain or Shine, it will be the perfect day!” I love that about James and Ashley. They are genuine. They are positive. They are so completely in love and they were so focused on what mattered most on their wedding day.
Ashley and James, it was such a joy to photograph your New Bern, NC wedding. You two are some of the kindest and most genuine people Grady and I have ever met. Your families and friends are so warm and it is so clear what a wonderful support system you will have surrounding you through your marriage.
